How we started
A pioneer in the field of exclusive fetish wear and high quality latex clothing, DeMasK first opened its doors in the summer of 1990 on Zeedijk located in the Red Light District of Amsterdam. Under the leadership of Steve English, the exclusive designs were manufactured in a tiny workshop in the basement and sold on the first floor of the shop.
DeMasK quickly developed into a unique supplier of high-quality fetish wear, especially latex. Known for their quality and innovation, the products quickly became a staple in the fetish community, fulfilling a growing demand for such stylish items.
Following their early success, DeMasK expanded internationally with stores opening in New York, Munich & Dortmund. It was not long before the humble workshop couldn’t keep up with the increasing demand of latex products, so they moved to a larger location down the road, which was followed by the DeMasK team growing in numbers.
Alongside the pioneering stores, DeMasK also took the lead in the world of international fetish events and in collaboration with Skin Two, hosted the first of many Europerve Parties, held at the Artis Zoo in Amsterdam in 1991. The backdrop of pink flamingos was unforgettable. DeMasK also hosted the more regular and sleazy Kinky Club parties in the basement of an old warehouse in the Amsterdam docklands, which became legendary.
In 2011, Steve decided to hand the reins of DeMasK over to his business partner Anton and his wife Louva, and retire to the French countryside.

Who we are
Since 2011, the business owner has been Anton: an undisputed a latex lover who values quality, knowledge, and fairness.
As former business partner of DeMasK, Anton took over the ownership of DeMasK on August 1st, 2011 from the founder Steve English.
During this time, he ran DeMasK with Louva, a famous French fetish model. Together, they ensured the DeMasK quality by changing a large number of designs and production methods.
In 2021, Louva returned to France, and Anton found a new partner in crime, Magdalena, an analytical psychologist and sexologist with a love for entrepreneurship.
Together, they work on bringing the overall DeMasK experience to a new elevated level, not only by maintaining the latex quality but also by improving the DeMasK experience.
In 2012, a collaboration with Vault Events, known for Wasteland and Burning Man, was established to resurrect the infamous rubber event Europerve, originally started in 1991. The party was a huge success, and has been growing in popularity ever since.
Now Europerve is known for its surprising, often luxurious, locations with not only the most beautiful latex creations but also DJs, high-end food and drinks. We celebrate in style.
Upcoming Europerve editions will be announced on a special Europerve page on this site.
DeMasK aims to be more than just the best latex clothing company. We aim to be the best provider of your latex garments and a trusted party in discovery, parties, play, and support.
We hope to welcome you soon!
Stats & Fun Facts
How we work
Since the humble beginnings in the basement of the shop on the Zeedijk, innovation and quality have been at the core of DeMasK products. While production has grown, each article is still handmade, either cut by hand or press-cut on an antique press that has travelled from its original home in Amsterdam to the current workshop in the Czech Republic, located in the city of Ostrava.
In the early nineties, founder of DeMasK, Steve English, used his engineering skills to create the iconic panelled hood, which has since been widely imitated. Some years later, inflatable torpedo tits hit the stores. Further collaborations have lead to silky finishes, face-sitting pants, and booty pants. DeMasK has always risen to the challenge of creating something new. Indeed, it is not uncommon to create custom garments for people.
The raw materials come from the best possible sources. Our rubber comes from environmentally friendly, fair-trade plantations in Malaysia, where new techniques have meant that after the approximate 20-year life cycle of the rubber tree, rather than being burnt, the wood of the tree is treated and used in the timber industry — the ideal furniture for the hardcore rubber fetishists.
In the press
It didn’t take long after DeMasK opened its doors before it to hit headlines. A member of the British royal family was spotted at one of the early Europerve parties, and pictures appeared on the front page of the now-defunct News of the World.
In 2004, DeMasK hit the headlines again during the notorious Super Bowl Nipplegate. Janet Jackson’s “wardrobe malfunction” led to a hasty press release denying any DeMasK connection.
DeMasK clothing has featured in numerous international fetish magazines, including Marquis and Skin Two, as well as in nationally renowned magazines like Nieuwe Revue and Panorama. Dutch TV celebrity Anna Nooshin recently appeared in the popular Dutch magazine Linda, prompting many phone calls to the shop asking for the same outfit.
